I've used Power Point quite often in my classroom this year. I used it to play video, carry out class activities like listening and speaking, singing, reading, writing, reciting rhyme and many other activities. The pupils loved it because of it presentation, colours, animation and sound effect. It is a great program to have and I plan on using it a lot more next year.

Blending (combining sounds)
Blending is taking the sounds and blending them together to make a word.

Segmenting (separating sounds)
Segmentation is being able to hear a word and then say the individual sounds in the word.
